Christmas Break

MY CHRISTMAS BREAK BY TEDDY
One day after school let out I went home for Christmas break, and I had a lot of fun. I had a lot of fun. I got lot of presents. On Saturday we went to the Tennessee Aquarium for our vacation because we never had a vacation. The Aquarium is big. It's actually the biggest freshwater Aquarium in the world. After we went to the Aquarium we went to Mellow Mushroom to eat pizza with my Mom's aunt and uncle. The pizza we got was really, really good and also hot. And it also had lots of cheese. After we ate most of the pizza and brought the rest with us we went next door to an ice cream place. The ice cream wasn't very good there but we had to eat it anyway. Then my aunt and uncle left to drive home because they live close to there. We all got into the car and drove to a hotel to stay for the night. After we all got settled and put on our bathing suits we went down to the pool. I swam and attacked my dad a few times. Then we had to go to our hotel and sleep. The next morning we went down to eat. I ate a waffle and some oatmeal. We checked out of the hotel and drove down to a park.

Night Before Christmas

-adapted from the original poem, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, by Mr. White-

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the school
Not a student was studying, for it was the rule.
The lockers were emptied in the hall with great care,
In hopes that Mr. White's superintendent soon would be there.

The students were supposedly nestled in bed,
While visions of math tests danced in their heads.
And Miss Beth-Anne in her logo shirt, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

When out on the field there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the school to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a teacher,
If it was a girl, I knew what I'd teach her.

But not one, or two, or even three little girls,
But all ten of them, each holding a squirrel!
Then what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a brand new playground set and eight tiny deer.

With a bunch of the youth so lively and quick,
I knew without coats on that they would be sick.
More rapid than basset Hounds looking for food,
Came the rest of the students all in good moods.

Now Miles! Now Alex! Now Ryan and Quinton!
On, Dominic! On, Caleb! On, Andrew and Benjamin!
To the top of the playground! To the top of the slide!
First K-2, then 3-8, now take your turns - slide!

Then they sprang to their homes, to their beds with a sound,
And away they all scurried like hungry Basset Hounds.
But I heard them exclaim, 'ere they ran out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

Marbled Catsharks

Marbled Catsharks

Marbled catsharks have their habitats in shallow water and in coral. They eat squid, shrimp, and small fish. They are nocturnal-this means they are awake and eat at night.
Their size is two feet as an adult and are four inches when born. They are spotted.

Tiger sharks can get up to 20 feet long. They can weigh up to 1,400 pounds. When born, they weight 85 pounds. They can grow older than 50 years.

My Dream
I fell asleep on my bed,
I dreamed that I was dead.
My dream had no meaning,
I'm glad I was dreaming,
And didn't fall out of my bed.

Creepy,
black brown,
running through deserts,
viscous as can be,
SCORPION!!!!!!!

Candy
Candy Candy in your face!
Candy Candy every place!
Yummy Yummy,
In my Tummy!
